Bald Eagle fend off (Haliaeetus leucocephalus)

Pair of red-shouldered hawks fend off this eagle from their young in the nest just about every day.
Both raptors did some amazing aerial feats to outmaneuver the other. Eventually the eagle flew off.

Great catch. I saw my first Bald Eagle a couple of weeks ago. Was not able to get a picture with my camera still packed at the time.
