Christmas treats 3
I used to be a bit frustrated that the magpies would manage to untie the Xmas treats and fly away with them. This year they didn't do that. Also this year I hung up enough "cookies" that a magpie or two could be enjoying cookies and there would still be others available for the smaller birds.

I often finf these birds hard to get a shot .
Yes, for such big birds, and such scary ones for the little guys, they're surprisingly skittish. If I just slooowl y stand up by the window and raise my camera, they're off like a rocket. But this guy was too enthralled by the fat cookie, I guess.
