And a Mockingbird in a pine tree! (Mimus polyglottos)

Happy Holidays, everyone. Best wishes for a good Christmas and a better New Year. I finally got out today for the first time in a month and it was nice to trudge through the snow and mud - it really got me in the mood for last minute Christmas shopping. I'm am trying out some new equipment, something lighter to lug around when the hiking is more challenging during the winter months. A new camera is still on it's way and that (hopefully) will be an improvement.

Great capture Greg, I really love these beautiful mimids, and especially love their beautiful yellow eyes and those white wing patches. Lovely shot in a beautiful setting... Merry christmas to you and enjoy that new camera

Top shot Greg, those needles are sharp enough to stick you. Perfect Mocker shot with super light and details.
