Chris,

A great photograph. Thanks for sharing.

Allen

P.S. Reading Bill's comments, I do like the effect of including the bird and the moon. As regards your initials, I thought that they would distract from the photo less if they were in the lower left hand corner.

Hi Chris,
I'm not sure I understand this shot
great image of the bird
Your initials, (both style and size), IMHO spoil the image and the moon does nothing to add to the image.

It is quite amazing that you have the bird and the moon in one shot but I find the combination unpleasant.

as I indicated just my opinion

G'day Chris
I like the image of bird and moon together , in fact I have been trying to get such a shot myself for ages. Regarding the initials believe it does somewhat detract from the image but that is for you to decide Many thanks for showing
Ken

Many thanks for the comments.

The initials is an automated process but positioning on future shots will be considered. I agree, it does detract from the image.

The image itself was simply down to luck, or not, depending on your viewpoint. I was trying to photograph a Kingfisher at the time then saw the Harrier overhead and couldn't resist a few photographs. The position of the moon and the flight of the Harrier just came together.

Cheers,
Chris

Oh my goodness! What a stunning backdrop for this fabulous flight shot.
