Big and bold
Probably the boldest enlargement of a small bird I've dared. About 50% of full res. My recent Canon G9X bumps me up to 20MP, great for enlargement prints and close crops, and for print media. I wouldn't say it's the best lens, even that Canon ever put in a point and shoot, but does the basic job admirably well. Any other deficiency I can now blame on the 1997 Kowa!!! -SB

Very admirable Steve, I also was wondering about your Kowa, when I started I went with the low quality glass and fought CA for a couple years, my 883 is a joy. Buy the way, Best buy is still not selling the g9x mk2, out of stock.

Steve, I like all the work with the new camera but seem to keep coming back to this one.
Such lovely lighting and colors, of course the detail is wonderful. Thanks for your continuing efforts in digiscoping.
