as well ...
the name given to
the African species now ...
with whom these
are strongly related

Australasian
Masked Lapwing too had
similar semantic
confusion ...

... and
none of them is a
plover in true sense

Meanwhile ... the
Lapwings didn't give
even two hoots ... or
may be one 'did-did'
( their call ... ) about
all that controversy ...
