Black Swallowtail Butterflies (Papilio polyxenes: Papilionidae) male left, female right. Wingspan 6.4-10.2 cm (2.5-4.0 in).
Habitat
Post Oak Savanna vegetation area, Brazos River Valley, agriculture fields and tame pastureland at 77 m (253 ft) elevation.
Location
Union Bend Road, northwest of Mumford, Robertson County, Texas, USA.
