Snow Goose (Anser caerulescens) Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge, Grayson County, Texas, USA. The refuge is on the Big Mineral Arm of Lake Texoma which is formed by the damming of the Red River. An intermixing of the Blackland Prairie and Cross Timbers and Prairies vegetational areas. Taking off from a winter wheat field planted specifically for the wintering geese at ca. 189 m (619 ft) elevation. November 2017

Very impressive sight , can just imagine Mum snow goose saying ""I told you to hold his hand ""
The sound of the birds calls , wing beats ,etc.fading away to silence as they fly beyond hearing !
