Hackberry Emperor (Asterocampa celtis: Nymphalidae) Wingspan 5.1-6.4 cm (2.0-2.5 in).
Habitat
Blackland Prairie vegetation area, treed fence line with dead limbs strewn on the ground under the trees with soccer fields on one side and tame pasture on the other with an oxbow adjacent to the fence line at ca. 177 m (581 ft) elevation.
