A beautiful image of a most appealing shorebird Stanley. First class work.

(The calidrids are the group I'd most like to photograph digitally, should it prove possible. It's their delicate proportions, independence from humanity (nothing we can feed them with) plus the subtle differences that can make ID difficult).
