Sparrowhawk with prey (Accipiter nisus)

Seeing as all I can hear is digging, and the birds I wanted pics of have gone somewhere quieter, I checked through some pics from the end of January. This is one I meant to upload but got distracted by uploading Goldcrest pics.

This is a female eating a Pigeon she killed. Taken through the window, and at high (for my camera) ISO, and only 1/25th second shutter speed.
