Symbolic?

Found this on Saturday morning whilst walking the dogs. Thought it might make a good photo as it's quite symbolic of the relationship that exists between Jays and Oak trees.....probably! I like it anyway (apart from the fact that my camera appears to suffer quite a bit of CA)
I took the feather with me btw, it might turn out to be a a "lucky" one!

Cheers chap......You're too kind ;)

Just my other hobby creeping in there (that of trying to be a photographer - and failing miserably!)

Hi Simon! I dont think you are failing miserably at all. One of the attributes of a great photographer is to be able to set a scene, a mood or tell a story. I think that you have done it very well. Also the blue of the jays feather looks really beautiful against the orange/brown of the oak leaves :)

Having first seen the pic & its title, I thought of birds shedding their feathers for the winter.. ;) Good art.

Then I went on checking what's in there Art Gallery, and found a kindred spirit:

I like this one, it allows everyone to put their own interpretation on it. Thanks

Thanks for the kind words people. I'm actually thinking of trying to produce a series of shots like this........"Evidence of Birdlife" or somesuch, but don't worry, i won't share them all with you........well maybe some ;)
