I decided to walk up to the top of the property line and look back, so of course I took a picture and thought it time to show it to you to give you a bit of an insight into the lie of the land.

Down below you can see the dam which Hans excavated, and fortunately it now had some water in it (it was bone dry when I arrived a little over 2 weeks before).

The line of trees in the distance is where the road is. And you can just see the house on the left hand side behind the dark green hedge. My bedroom faced in this direction.

A beautiful view D. Hans has a great piece of property and has done a great job managing it for wildlife and birds. It is nice that you got to spend time with him and his wife. You sure racked up some lifers! TFS!
