Watchful, serene

Watchful, serene (Anas platyrhynchos)

Today's theme is watched birds watching the birdwatcher, but each in somewhat different moods. Three quick posts, then off to town to my dental hygienist appointment, some urban orienteering, and some dinner ingredient shopping. I'll catch up on browsing this evening ... is the plan.

Hi, Doc.

This is lovely picture of this
handsome mallard.
Well taken.

Best wishes,
Sefton Park Alex. x

PS If you happen to catch the aroma
of slowly-roasting Duck this morning,
you'll know that I've carried out my threat
of yesterday. That'll show 'em who's boss!

Hi, Doc.

Don't worry. We're all alive and well.
What he's written above is only what
passes for humour in his warped
and twisted mind. We can assure you
that if any spits are to be shoved up any
parsons' noses, it won't be our parsons'
noses up which they are shoved.
So, re the crumpet posted above,
after three, Girls: 1, 2, 3, PHWOAARRR!

Best wishes,
The (female) Sefton Park Ducks. xx

PS Did you notice that SP Alex spelt
'reign' yesterday without a G?
What a thicko!

excellent contact from the corner of its eye, Ann, and a fabulous photo, many tfs!!!

That water is beautiful and allows for a really lovely reflection.

A super job this Ann ... you have to watch it though when the birds start watching you... scary that LOL
