tufted duck (Aythya fuligula)

I tried to get this shot a few weeks ago, but could not quite get it as I wanted. Got another chance this weekend and managed to get one that I was happy with.
Location
Cley, Norfolk
Date taken
05/06/08
Scientific name
Aythya fuligula
Equipment used
EOS350D, Sigma 500 f4.5
Lovely colouring and reflections Peter their must be 100s of Tufted duck shots on here but this is one of the best.I thought the 1.4 was super glued to the 500,must have come unstuck.

it spends most of the time on the lens, but every now and again I risk taking it off!

Just came across this as a random image. I don't know how I missed it.
It's a stunning image, Pete!

Beautiful shot. Replaced your other image of a female with this one in Opus.
