A visitor to the backyard on Saturday.
Habitat
deciduous, coniferous, and mixed forests throughout the eastern and central areas of the United States, and southern Canada. They also can be found in parks and suburban residential areas, and are frequent guests of backyard bird feeders.

I've only seen birds in Britain, and regret never having visited the US. Blue Jays would be at the top of the list of birds I'd love to see (also Hermit Thrush and Yellow-rumped Warbler). This is a very pleasing capture Ingrid, the bird posing with an obliging head turn, and the picture exposed so as to retain graded tones in the snow. Good work!
