We had one land in the garden this afternoon, JB. It flew off once I’d fetched my camera!

Absolutely stunning capture of this Sparrowhawk JB, tfs mate.

Excellent shot of the hungry Sprawk,JB.
This lovely chap needs fresh meat instead of bird seeds. Interesting to see was, how deep it can hunt/"dive" into dense vegetation (i.e. bush), despite its size compared with passerines.
It pushed its prey into the denser parts of the bush (base). The bush works like a fish trap. The difficult part for the hunted bird was/is to find a way to escape through narrowly growed thorny twigs. The tit prey won.

Brilliant close-up and low camera view. Great eye contact, focus, dof, colors, feather detail, and setting. Fabulous raptor and picture JB!
