    The females arrive later. I returned home @ half past four today, switched on my laptop, looked for the Manton Bay nest cam, saw the first egg and them mating at 3:45 pm your time. 🤗

    Maybe Common whitethroat ? I had wonderful morning birding with a common redstart, a male whinchat and this one today. Guess the pics allow an ID. Thank you for your support. Captured today in Munich.

    First sighting 31st of July. Last sighting 26th of August. I believe the shrike left because the sparrowhawk showed up more often last week. Almost sad but the species is migratory.
