I may stop here with the California trip report. I just took a wildlife photography course at Nottingham University last week and hopefully I'll be taking even better shots over the coming days and weeks now. We'll see. I'm told the weather has been pretty dismal back home, so I may continue with some other shots while I wait for sunnier weather to get out in.
We'll also see if I ever get reconnected with my luggage, which was delayed thanks to a delayed flight leaving me with a short flight connection on my way here, and since then all the various organizations involved in delivering it have screwed up one way or another, or even several all at once. It's been 12 days now and still no luggage. Good thing my camera was with me in the backpack, not checked in the suitcase. Sadly, however, my brand new bins were :S Anyhoo ... between the course and trying to track down my suitcase and rebooking my fllight home to avoid getting stuck by the pilots' strike, I've been too busy to get much else done the past two weeks. I'll try to catch up on BF once I get home.
