White-crowned Sparrow (Zonotrichia leucophrys) adult. Perched in a cedar elm tree (Ulmus crassifolia: Ulmaceae) with leaf senescence.
Habitat
Blackland Prairie vegetation area. Farm and pastureland in a fence row at ca. 195 m (640 ft) elevation. Perched in a cedar elm tree (Ulmus crassifolia: Ulmaceae) with leaf senescence.
Location
East of Salado, Bell County, Texas, USA.
