Hi everyone,
I am considering buying a pair of Minox HG Binoculars. How solid is the warranty? How helpful is Minox customer service? What experiences have users had when they needed warranty service? Please let me know.

While I have not had a warranty issue, the Minox folks in New Hampshire have been exceptionally knowledgeable about the HG binoculars and remembered my earlier request for a set of objective covers for my MIJ HG 8 x 33 which were supplied without charge (the objective covers are, evidently, standard on the MIG versions). I love my Minox HG binoculars (I also own the 10 x 43 MIJ HG and 8 x 43 MIG HG) and am confident that any warranty issues will be promptly and correctly addressed.

I've just posted in this section on the positive experience of Minoxes' service if you are still after opinions, I wont repeat here what's in that thread, I will say it's a positive experience though
