Moth ID required Worcestershire UK (1 Viewer)

I found this moth floating in my waterbut today, so it's a bit bedraggled. The closest I can find is a Knot Grass, but the flight season is wrong. Can anyone give a positive ID?

My book says May to June and August to September.

My book says May to June and August to September.

They probably emerge from the pupa during these months but the adults can survive on past those dates (albeit rather tattered on many occasions).
