From the Flashes this evening Mike W reports:

Wood Sandpiper 1, Curlew 14 (including the juvenile), Black-tailed Godwit 2, Dunlin 2 (adult & juvenile), Green Sandpiper 6, Common Sandpiper 1, Lapwing 88, Avocet 29, Little Ringed Plover 2 adults + 2 chicks plus 3 juveniles from elsewhere, Teal 6+, Shelduck juvenile, Little Grebe 2 (both juveniles), 2 Common Tern (adult and juvenile)

Kingfisher over the Sailing Pool.

From the Flashes this evening Mike W reports:

Wood Sandpiper 1, Curlew 14 (including the juvenile), Black-tailed Godwit 2, Dunlin 2 (adult & juvenile), Green Sandpiper 6, Common Sandpiper 1, Lapwing 88, Avocet 29, Little Ringed Plover 2 adults + 2 chicks plus 3 juveniles from elsewhere, Teal 6+, Shelduck juvenile, Little Grebe 2 (both juveniles), 2 Common Tern (adult and juvenile)

Kingfisher over the Sailing Pool.

Increases on the above: Common Tern 5 (3 ad, 2 juv), Peregrine over and 13 Teal
 
From the Flashes this morning Andy P reports:

Little Ringed Plover 2 chicks still + adult + 3 other juveniles, Wood Sandpiper still, Black-tailed Godwit 2, Dunlin 3 (1 juvenile), Snipe, Green Sandpiper 6, Common Sandpiper 2, Avocet 32, Lapwing 95, Shelduck juvenile, Little Grebe 2 juveniles, Teal 9, Common Tern 4

Deer Norht Moors Thursday pm

What looks like a muntjac showed briefly whilst it fed in the low undergrowth between the bird feeders and the North Moors hide. This was literally all we saw. Yesterday pm. had it not been for this very brief view / disturbance we wouldn't have known it was there.

A second Wood Sandpiper was present this afternoon as per Phil Taylor but just one again the evening as per Tim O.

I did tweet the second wood sand could be sheltering from the bad weather last night .The first one did on its arrival last Tuesday. So here is a test for your memory is this multiple count of wood sand? enjoy your trip.:t:

Also thIs morning at the Flashes Paul Legge reports:

2 Black-tailed Godwit, 3 Dunlin, 11 Curlew, juvenile Water Rail in the open in front of the hide
 
One of the two remaining Little Ringed Plover chicks was lost during the course of the afternoon, cause unknown.

Two yellow ringed Black-headed Gulls - TAMR and 2RNJ - present at the Flashes this evening.
 
Two further ringed BHGs seen but they were unco-operative & neither could be read. One was white ring with black characters and the other the reverse. This latter one possibly ended with 90.
 
A late evening update from the Flashes by Andy P:

Turnstone still at dusk. The Ruff flew off high to the east with one of the Wood Sandpiper and a Dunlin after the juvenile Peregrine went through.
 
From the Flashes this morning Dave J reports:

Turnstone flew off south at 6:55am, Wood Sandpiper, 25+ Avocet, Black-tailed Godwit, Dunlin, 8 Curlew, 5 Green Sandpiper, Common Sandpiper, 7 Little Ringed Plover (including 5 juveniles) + 1 young.

Little Egret, 7 Common Tern and Common Sandpiper on the Sailing Pool.
