When in Brazil last year, the Wildlife Conservation Society's Atlantic Forest and SE Brazil was a huge help. I carried Perlo 2009 as well, but having the more focused guide saved a lot of time and effort when birding on my own. I'm returning to Brazil, this time Mato Grosso and the Pantanal Norte, but the corresponding Wildlife Conservation Society book is out of print. 2010. Birds of Brazil: The Pantanal and Cerrado of Central Brazil by Gwynne, Ridgely, Tudor, and Argel. Cornell University Press.
Does anyone want to lighten their shelves and sell their lightly used copy?
Thanks in advance, and apologies if this is the wrong thread to use.

The little shop attached to Pousada Piuval (lodge on the transpantaneira) had several copies available (in english) when I was there fall of 2022 (bought mine there). May be worth contacting them and checking if they still have any left (and pick it up at the start of the trip).

Thanks for all your help all! Unfortunately it looks like Wildsounds is sold out. Interesting suggestip filip, I may need to find it there, fingers crossed! Was hoping for it a bit earlier, but that may be it. As for Merlin, of course, yes. I have and use Merlin, but I'm a bit old fashioned, or perhaps just overwhelmed when birding on my own. It helps me to have relatives on the same page. Best, will keep trying.

It is still shown as in stock at Wildsounds:
