    Birding in Worcestershire

    Leucistic sparrow I noticed an odd sparrow the other day in our garden. We have quite large amounts of house sparrows year round but I've never seen a leucistic one before. I thought I'd pop them on here.

    Sharpening in elements Hi Woodwolf, have you tried the high pass filter for sharpening? I find it pretty easy though you do have to be careful not to over sharpen. This youtube link shows how, but there are loads of other videos. I use elements 8. I'm sure it'll be in 9 too...

    Thanks very much Brian. Hadn't realised quite how diverse a species they are. I can see I'm going to have to spend some time with the camera to make some more indepth and accurate identification. Gareth
