I'm staying near Sturminster Newton at Easter, but will have limited time. Any good sites within a ten mile radius?

    Kingfisher help please

Obviously the Kingfisher isn't guaranteed at Fowlmere, but I've found that usually a good 2 or 3 hours in the spring hide should produce one. You won't see a lot in the meantime though!

    Paxton-pits - St Neots

Agreed, Paxton Pits is well worth a visit - but make sure you take your wellies! Fen Drayton nearby also very good.

    Changes in Global Bird Distribution

    Cats on the Bird Table

What I can't understand is that, while I get cats in my garden going after the birds, I still have rats from time to time on the feeders! You'd think that I would one win way or the other.

Tumble down the scale as I recall, certainly not 'Chiff Chaff' - which makes it a Willow Warbler?

    Cambridgeshire Birding

A few photos of visitors to Fowlmere over the past 3 weeks all in excellent voice (except the Tern!) Would appreciate a positive ID on the first pic. The Tern stayed for over a week.

Are you asking for a formula to create the red data? If so, try the following: Assume the word spain is in 'A2' and the rest of the data is aligned accordingly. Moulting adult Blue-Tit? Granchester Cambridgeshire. I've had to adjust the exposure and brightnes a bit as it was particularly cloudy today.
