Subspecies
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Wet limestone forests and mountainous rainforest; generally at 500-1600 m, but has been observed at 2000 m.
Behaviour
Breeding
They nest 18 m or higher up in tree holes or hollow limbs. Their clutch consists of 2 eggs.
Diet
The diet consists of fruits, nuts and berries, blossoms, leaf buds, guava and ripe bananas.
