Genus: Chloropicus
Description
Three species of Woodpeckers from Africa.
Taxonomy
Chloropicus is a genus in the Family Picidae. The members have in the past been placed in genus Dendropicos. (Note: first IOC placed these three into the genus Chloropicus. Later, Clements followed with placing these and several more into Chloropicus. It will be exciting to see where this ends).
