Genus: Ornorectes

Description

This genus contains only one species, the Piping Bellbird (formerly Crested Pitohui).

Taxonomy

Ornorectes is a genus in the family Oreoicidae.
It was formerly placed in the family Pachycephalidae and included in the genus Pitohui. However a new study shows that this species is closely related to Rufous-naped Bellbird and Crested Bellbird.
