Genus: Philesturnus
Description
This genus contains only one species, the Saddleback from New Zealand.

Philesturnus is a monotypic genus in the family Callaeidae. Some authorities accept two species based on differences in behaviour and different plumage of juveniles.
Creadion seems to be a junior synonym for this genus.
