Genus: Temnurus
Description
This genus contains only one species, the Ratchet-tailed Treepie.
It differs from other treepies with its stiffened feathers on the forehead and the unusual, distinctive tail.
Taxonomy
Temnurus is a genus in the family Corvidae.
New studies suggest a close relationship to Platysmurus.
