Distribution
Indonesia: found in southern Sumatra, Java, Bali, Lombok, Sumbawa and Kangean Islands.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
They are usually found near a variety of water sources, such as tidal estuaries, mangroves, mudflats, freshwater streams, canals and fish ponds.
Behaviour
Diet
Their diet consists of small fish, crustaceans, and aquatic insects.
