Identification
Distribution
India, Bhutan, China, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam.
Taxonomy
Formerly placed in genus Bradypterus.
Two subspecies recognized1:
- L. m. mandelli in northeast India, Bhutan, northern and western Myanmar, south-central and southern China, northern Laos, and northern Vietnam
- L. m. melanorhyncha in eastern China; winters to southeast China
Dalat Bush Warbler, Benguet Bush Warbler and Javan Bush Warbler have been split from this species.
