Identification
Distribution
Bhutan, China, India, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Taxonomy
Two subspecies recognized:
- O. t. tenuirostris in eastern Himalayas to southwest China and northern southeast Asia
- O. t. invisus in southern Vietnam
Was considered to be conspecific with Black-naped Oriole, additionally the subspecies invisus was placed within Black-naped Oriole as well.
Habitat
Moist lowland forests and moist montanes.
