Found in Sulawesi, Butung, Tukangbesi and Banggai Islands
Taxonomy
This is one of several species which were formerly considered one species with the name of Brush Cuckoo.
Some authorities believe this should be combined with Sunda Brush Cuckoo and the combined species given the name of Rusty-breasted Cuckoo.

This is a monotypic species[1].
