Members of this genus are all Antwrens
Taxonomy
Herpsilochmus is a genus in the family Thamnophilidae.
Voice is an important feature in Antwrens distinguishing each others, and therefore have great value in taxonomy of this group. Three possible new species of Antwrens have not yet beed described but the claim that they should be new species is based on recordings of vocalizations[1]</sup.
