History and Use

Haweswater is a reservoir for Manchester and is located in the south-eastern part of the English Lake District. Golden Eagles first bred in Riggindale Valley in 1969 and since then 16 young have fledged. The last male Golden Eagle has not been seen since Storm Desmond devastated much of Cumbria in December 2015.
