Already tested the best by Twentse Vogelwerkgroep I hadf the opportunity to buy a used one via a website. When I received it, it looked brand new. This head is easy to use and has the possibilities to adjust the mechanisms just as you wish: you can let it go up and down or from right to,left from very smooth to a bit stiffer. It is very solid and very steady and therefor ideal. But it's also heavy (1.4 kg) and a bit to high (13.5cm). it makes my tripod (a Gitzo G1327) heavy at the top. For safety reasons I have to hang my bagpack at the middel section . The quick release plate has a fine double safety lock.
