Good first scope to try out eyepiece options?

Item details

Anyone know about this scope / think this is a good deal?

I am long standing but not expert bird watcher - mostly woodland and other closest range watching, so bins fine. But I am thinking of getting my first scope, mainly for wetlands locally, though also shore and mountains on holidays.

Lots of great advice on here, and I am leaning towards 60 or 65mm scope. Budget quite low ,I would like scope + tripod for £600 or less if possible. If new I have been thinking Viking Swallow ED looks good value, have seen for sale for £399, but not tried one yet. Happy to look at 2nd hand, but haven't seen much within budget which appears as better spec - though I could be off the mark!

One reason the link above intests me is the opportunity for a scope-newby to try different eye pieces.

All opinions gratefully received.
