    Photographed this sparrow several years ago on January 29 in the south-east of Iran, not too far from the Pakistan border. Cheeks seem to be greyish and the bib looks small (maybe due to molting?) It would be great to have your opinion on this Thank you in advance

    Photographed this Reed Bunting yesterday in the north of Iran. Can it be a pallidior subspecies of Common Reed Bunting? In the field I thought maybe it can be Pallas's Reed Bunting but I think the bill shape rules that out. Thank you in advance

    Chiffchaff song ID, Iran

    I recorded this song in E Elburz Mountains at the elevation of nearly 2000m in late April. I didn't find any recordings of caucasicus and menzbieri subspecies of the Common Chiffchaff and it doesn't seem to be a Mountain Chiffchaff. I would be glad to hear your opinion on this. Thanks

    Sand Plover ID, Iran

    This interesting plover was seen on March 25 in north of Iran. It seems that bill shape and the length of the nail is better for Greater Sand Plover but showing short tibia (maybe due to its stance and fluffing belly feathers) and dark legs. Thank you in advance

    Last week in a wetland in north of Iran these two caught my eyes. They seemed different from other Little Stints which were present but i couldn't find any better candidate than Little Stint. So, are they LS or maybe some interesting Siberian rarity which i'm not familiar with?
