    Cuckoo from Darwin Australia

    I photographed this Cuckoo in the Botanical Gardens Darwin last week. Thoughts are it is an Oriental Cuckoo but underneath upper part of the tail is plain white with no flecks or barring. Could it be another sort of Cuckoo such as Himalyan?

    PAcific Golden Plover or American golden Plover

    Taken In Westernport Bay Victoria 19 Nov I took this photo of some Pacific Golden Plovers. The one central in the picture though has a bolder, longer Supercillum than the others and I am wondering if it could be an American Golden Plover.
