What is the best camouflage jacket (& trousers) that money can buy?

I'm a great fan of the Buffalo range of clothing and have the Special six and Active lite shirts. The Special six is too hot if active and over about 5 C but the Active lite is ok up to T shirt weather. Both are warm and comfortable when wet (from sweat or rain). Wind and shower proof - in heavy...

    Beginner's questions - Which sizes ?

Check out my review of the Opticron Discovery WP PC 8 x 32 in the reviews section. I would avoid 10 x at this price.

    Katmai 6 x 32

I bought this binocular second hand about two weeks ago. Its main feature is the low 6x magnification that has advantages in woodland birding. The increased depth of field does make it easier to peer into bushes and trees and also makes getting onto a bird very quick and easy. It is also quite...

    Kowa

The 8 x 32 Opticron DISCOVERY WP PC has a similar spec but with a 4mm exit pupil rather than 2.6mm (over twice the area). It is 60g heavier (18% more) and slightly larger but it is half the price. I would recommend anyone look at this when considering a compact. Just how small do you want? Steve

What size bino do you travel with?

I take my Swarovski 8x20 everywhere - good for cities (I used it to look at the Mona Lisa today - fantastic) and hiking where every ounce counts. For trips where weight and size is less important I use my Nikon HD 10x32. Not great for travelling but best for bird watching is my trusty Nikon SE...
