    What I would like to know is this, I use a canon ef f4.500 L IS USM lens,I will be getting a 1.4 ext.mk11.now I understand that the AF. will work,but will the lens still go to f4.? and any hints/tips on how to get the best from this set up?are there any down sides to this,??     Trying to get a 3D affect

    I have seen some photos in the gallery that can in a way make the bird/image have a 3d feel about it,well I keep trying to get a shot with that affect,by useing the branches in the F/ground that are out of focus,but to get the bird in focus behind those branches,(hope you get what I am saying)...

    I have seen a 2nd hand canon 2x converter for sale, it's a Mk1, the new 2x is a Mk11, is the Mk11, any better,if yes, in what way,and if I were to buy a 2nd. hand Mk1,would this be as good as a Mk11.
