Hi, cheers from Tasmania. I'm particularly interested in East Africa and Southern Ocean - Antarctica been there a few times.

Hello Massai! On behalf of those of us on staff here at Birdforum, I would like to extend a warm welcome to you. You should find plent of threads and posts on the areas you are interested in.

Enjoy!

Hi, Massai! Another warm welcome to you from BirdForum!

Wow, I've never been to Antarctica -- came close last time I was in New Zealand. Look forward to hearing about your birding adventures there!

Welcome Maasai. I too have an interest in Antarctica having worked there for two and a half years back in the early '70s with the British Antarctic Survey. Rather limited birding oportunities from a static base though!
