Hi all, just joined Birdforum. Have been a keen (obsessive?) birder since I grew up in Scotland 60 years ago. Was a professional avian ecologist for several decades until I retired. Have birded in about 50 different countries in all continents except Antarctica.

Welcome aboard, retired to Florida 8 years ago, but born& lived in Vermont most of my life. Nice area, but not sure I could survive the winters now!šŸ˜Ž
