Hi,
Does anyone here know if the Carr Canyon road is still OK for a normal rented car? If not, how long would the hike be to get into the best birding areas?

Are Miller and Ramsey Canyons also worth visiting if I have 2-3 days?

Anyone done night birding there? How easy / difficult was that?

Many thanks in advance!
Cheers
Matt

Perhaps someone will come along with more recent info, but in fall 2013 I had no trouble driving my car (Saturn SL2) up and down Carr Canyon road.

Haven't visited the other sites but I think with a couple days you could easily fit in one or both.
