Cocoon and lacunana? (1 Viewer)

A couple of confirmations.

The cocoon was fairly easy to find on the scottish west coast a couple of weeks ago. It is fairly large. Fox Moth?

And is the micro just another Celypha lacunana? Or could it be Orthotaenia undulana?

Hello Brian,
What your first picture shows in the cocoon of a Drinker Moth, The Fox Moth cocoons are much longer and a very dirty grey in appearance and are sited very low down in dense vegetation and difficult to find, even when you are specifically looking for them.

I have attached a poor picture of a Fox Moth cocoon, it's much longer than the actual pupae it contains.
