Hi,

we need detail photos of the binoculars themselves, especially anything printed or engraved. The sign on the bag is probably from the hunting store in moscow where it was bought.

Regards,

Joachim

Independent eyepiece focus 8x30, or maybe 8x24.
Measure clear aperture of front glass.
Spare eyecup? or two?
Has it blue coatings or white reflections?
!950s??
Has typical Russian yellow clip on filters.

Small eyepieces 50 degree field?
Does it have a reticle in one eyepiece?

Hi,

It looks military to me. Very similar to a 6x30 Dienstglas . The case does not look like the correct one for the binocular - it looks too tall.

I agree but with only the one screw on the prism plate it is not a WW II German Dienstglas all of which had 3 screws. Looks like a Czech, Soviet or possibly East European 6x30.
