Birding the Moors Today
When I arrived at 8.20 there were at least 5 reed buntings singing from the car park to the east hide. As per normal a little egret was feeding in Swampy bottom. Duck numbers were a bit static apart from a couple of wigeon. Snipe numbers have declined but teal have risen slightly.
But still NO winter thrushes I can't believe they have gone back to Scandinavia and I would expect them to pass through soon feeding on the fields around the Flashes.
