It seems to me that some functions of Olympus Master 2 RAW editor stage simply do not function on my photos taken on E520.
(Note I am not referring to the jpeg editor)
In particular varying the sharpness attribute from "as shot" to any setting between -2 to+2 has no effect whatsoever on my images.
Also the Noise filter attribute will allow it to be switched "off" but you cannot vary it from Low to Standard to High. If I try I see no difference.
Am I missing something obvious? I can find no reference to these OM2 functions not working anywhere, and maybe they do work on the E510. The "help" says they do vary with camera model.
Wrotniak's review of OM2 makes no mention of this and I can find no mention anywhere else.
If this is the case and the software doesn't work, then will it definitely work as it should if I get Photoshop elements 7 or Olympus Studio. What do other users do about RAW editing?
